Last summer I spent a month looking after a group of English art students attending a summer school in Cyprus. This was not a particularly difficult task, although one of them was arrested by the police, another managed to spend a night sleeping in a drainage ditch, and a third was attacked at a night club. Lucie Bartoňková: Recyklované umění
Příspěvek Lucie Bartoňkové o recyklovaném umění je inspirován studentským seminářem na School of Design, University of Leeds. Seminář probíhal pod vedením prof. Kennetha G. Haye. Inspirací se stal hlavně příspěvek studentů o psychedelickém umění 60. let, skupině Hapshash and the Coloured Coat a jejímu vlivu na současný grafický design. Dále mě zaujal článek od Julie H. Fraser Recycling Art, jehož volný překlad předkládám vaší inspiraci.
The article dealing with the Recycled Art has been inspired by student’s seminar at the School of Design, University of Leeds, under the leadership of professor Kenneth G. Hay. This idea was born on the basis of students’ article on psychedelic art of the 60th namely Hapshash and the Coloured Coat group and its influence on the current graphic design article Recycling Art written by Julie H. Fraser has made a great impression upon me and I am introducing it for your inspiration. (more…)
